Comedian Chris D'Elia responds to sexual harassment and misconduct allegations
By Caitlyn Becker For Dailymail. The year-old was accused earlier this month by multiple women of having inappropriate communications with minors and 'grooming' them. He denied the allegations and said that his relationships were 'legal and consensual' but added in a statement to TMZ that was 'truly sorry' for getting 'caught up' in his lifestyle. The trade didn't include any other information about the agency dropping the scandal-laden comedian but Deadline confirmed that the actor had been fired by his agents. The move comes after D'Elia was accused by several women on social media of sexually harassing underage girls. Last week, the controversy began when a woman by the name of Simone Rossi using the handle girlpowertbh tweeted images that depicted a text chat between the pair six years ago. Quiet: It was confirmed by Variety and Deadline that D'Elia was fired by his talent agency however no other details were given.

Penn Badgley spoke out about the recent string of sexual misconduct allegations leveled against actor Chris D'Elia, 40, who co-starred in season two of Badgley's Netflix show You. The year-old said he didn't really 'know Chris' but that he was 'very troubled' by the accusations, during an appearance on the Los Angeles Times' podcast. In a macabre twist of life imitating art, in season two of You, D'Elia played a comedian named Henderson who raped and molested underage girls in the show.
